Peel of Fortune: The Game Show That Unzips On the Fly!

Introducing my first production in years, the first series I've ever produced, and the first all improv burlesque series in Kansas City: Peel of Fortune! It will feature a different cast in each show, music curated by local music personalities, and an interactive game show format with fun and prizes for both audience and contestants.

The Debut Edition will be on October 3rd, 10PM, at the Buffalo Room (Like them on Facebook!), and will feature the talents of:
Amy Farrand - Special Guest Musical Director
Kinsey Scale - Lovely Assistant
Cher D. Blame - Contestant
Annie-Mae Allure - Contestant
Romany Jewel - Contestant
Annie Thrax - Contestant
Hank E. Panky - Contestant

To give the series the best chance at long-term success, we're launching with a crowdfunding campaign through the wonderful platform Dana.io. Yes, this is the part where I ask for money. But I'm actually offering a great bargain, since the gift options offer tickets at the same price as at the door, but with added perks*. This will be the only way to get advance tickets, as well as admission to an exclusive afterparty with the cast. And if you can't make it to the show, we've got you covered, too - we'll be filming the whole thing, and all gift levels include a link to the video when we get it online! Please take a look and consider helping us out. https://dana.io/peel-of-fortune

*There is a sponsorship opportunity in the gift options, but we also have need for products and services to be awarded as prizes - contact earthadelights@gmail.com for details!

Where The Hell’s The Bridesmaid????? (Featuring Daisy Bucket)
Where The Hell’s The Bridesmaid????? Bride demands the perfect wedding. But how can it be perfect when Bridesmaid is missing - shortly followed by the minister? Did Bridesmaid have one too many? Did someone give Bridesmaid one too many - with a "twist"? Is Bridesmaid really dead? A guest list full of amateur sleuths surely guarantees a confession - or something close to it. One murderer? Two murderers? No murderer? Coincidence? Connection? Chaos ensues as each sets out to prove who done it while digging up some deeply buried secrets. As more questions are raised than are answered, each guest sets out to prove they couldn't have done it all the while keeping Bridesmaid "alive" so as to not ruin Bride's perfect day. But what are they to do when the mansions [sic] master keels over - right in front of the bride?

Meet me in St. Louis!

It's a good thing I love Missouri, because I'll be schlepping across it to perform in St. Louis a couple times coming up.

First up is this Saturday, April 5th at Livery Company for Burl-X: a 1990s Burlesque Show and Dance Party! In addition to a tried and true favorite, I'll be debuting a new act that pays tribute to my raver/club kid youth. With lots of shiny stuff. I'll probably give you stickers if you show up.

Thursday, May 15 I'll be performing in the Opening Night Bash at Show Me Burlesque and Variety Festival 2014! This is my favorite festival and I look forward to it every year. Tickets are available now and I strongly recommend getting the weekend passes - it's a great deal and every show is packed with amazing entertainers. There will also be workshops - perhaps even one taught by yours truly - which I will update you on later. Hope to see you there!

Here's an appropos of nothing picture of  "The Ass of Mass Distraction" from Diversi-Tease 2014. Because butts.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Remember how I said my shows last weekend would be my only appearances this month "unless someone swoops in with a late booking?" Yeah. Well that happened. I also forgot to tell you about a non-burlesque appearance, AND I have a major announcement. So here we go:

First, I'll be posing for InterUrban ArtHouse's ArtMatters Sketch Group on Saturday, March 15, 1-4pm. Then later that night, I'll be performing at the "All That Glitters" KC Weekend Afterparty and Burlesque Show at Pop Up Art Gallery. It's a dance party featuring performances by myself, Annie Cherry, Damian Blake, and emcee Zelda Zinger starting at 11pm. So you can go to "Geeks N' Freaks: The Comic Con After Party!" at Social Bar, and still make it over to see us and dance until the wee hours! Look at that - I planned your weekend for you.

NOW THE BIG NEWS! I am so pleased to announce that I'll be returning to the Show Me Burlesque and Variety Festival stage this year on Thursday, May 15! Show Me is hands down my favorite festival, and I'm thrilled that they've asked me to come back. Look for ticketing links soon!

Oops. I blinked and missed February.

Screw it. March forth! But first a quick rewind to the beginning of March, so I can tell you what a fantastic time I had as a special guest of TwoLips Burlesk at "Re-Titillate the 918!" The Tulsa Little Theatre was packed to the rafters with enthusiastic fans and the show was a delight. If you find yourself in Tulsa, check them out!

I have two shows booked this weekend, then no other performances in March (unless someone swoops in with a late booking...) so shake off that last winter storm and come on out. You can catch me Friday 3/7/14 at Slap-n-Tickle's annual Erotica Art Show, which is having a special second opening due to the especially crappy weather last month. Then Saturday 3/8/14, I'll be performing in Carnival: A Mardi Gras Extravaganza at Social Bar. Amusing (to me) tangent: I didn't realize until I showed up for rehearsal the other night that Social Bar, although it no longer resembles it at all in the public area, is the same bar that I very first tended way back when it was Benders. So it's a homecoming of sorts. Only back then, the "stage" was some wood thrown over the pool tables, and I only flashed my boobs when I was drunk. This will be way better.

Attention Geeks, Whovians, Anglophiles, and Queers!

Every once in a while, as a performer, you're offered a gig that some would politely decline and others would just look confused about, but it's so very right up your nerdy little ally that you can't help but gleefully accept. Or at least, that's the case for me. I had never heard of Ahn!Con prior to being asked to perform at it, and I'm still not entirely sure what British Burlesque Cabaret has to do with Yaoi, but I get to play a "power nerdsbian" (no explanatory link for that one - I coined it myself) and give the (drag) Doctor a lap dance, so frankly, I don't care. Come watch this queer geek winning on 1/11/14 at Ramada Convention Center - 1601 N Universal Ave, Kansas City, MO 64120 - at 10PM!

December Appearances

I said I wasn't going to do any shows in December to give myself time to recover from my tonsillectomy and work on some new material. That was after I had forgotten a commitment to one show and before I was offered another too fun to pass up... and then was coerced into staying at my day job through the end of the December (aka the busiest, most stressful time of year.) D'oh. Never fear, friends and fans! I will DO ALL THE THINGS! Right after I DRINK ALL THE COFFEE!

So where can you see me this month? First at Weirdo Wednesday Supper Club's Winter Solstice Edition 12/18/13 at Davey's Uptown. If you've never been to Amy Farrand's Weirdo Wednesday, you have been missing out. It's cheap, early, and absolutely the most entertainment you can pack into a weeknight and still get a good night's sleep. This time around, I get to play with one of my dearest burly-babe/aerialist/drunky-funtime friends, Violet Vendetta, along with some of my favoritest musicians/weirdos in town.

Then I'll be guest emcee for Panties Inferno's Unwrapped After Christmas Show at Hamburger Mary's Kansas City on Friday, 12/27/13. That's right, darling ones, I'm working on my birthday to give you the gift of my presence. Or something like that. No, you won't see my boobs at this show. But  I'll sing you a song or two and there will be games and silliness and you should come because it's my birthday and you like me. Also, it's free. So it has that going for it. Oh, and you'll see some of these boobs:

Happy Holidays, beloveds. Whichever ones you celebrate. Check back soon for January appearances, including a very special Doctor themed show at Ahn!Con and the Twin Cities' first ever exposure to my (fraternal) twin titties at Diversi-Tease 2014!
